With ten brand-new tracks, a grittier sound, and a renewed musical identity, 3 Legs Chair marks a sonic and stylistic evolution for The Steel Bones. Written between 2023 and 2024, this upcoming album reveals a more mature, self-aware band, ready to dive deeper into their own roots.

The sound is raw and dirty, yet still catchy and direct. The band wears its influences on its sleeve—hard rock meets straightforward harmonies, with powerful, honest arrangements.

A major turning point for the band was the line-up change:
The arrival of bassist Mirco Agostini brought fresh energy and a powerful new dynamic. With over thirty years of experience, Mirco reinforced the rhythm section and played a key role in shaping the arrangements, building a perfect connection with drummer Simone Gagliardi.

At the heart of this album are the lyrics—
ironic, bitter, sometimes mystical. They tell stories of broken relationships, social struggles, addiction, and the inevitable passing of time.

Each song entered the studio already alive, having been tested and performed live. That process allowed the band to truly capture each track’s essence and solidify its identity.

The album is also enriched by vintage tones, featuring pianos, strings, and old-school Hammond organs, thanks to the essential contribution of Andrea Gagliardi, now a full member of the band.
